Why Am I Not Voting in 2012?

By Reginald Kaigler (DEMCAD)

A disappointed viewership was upset that I said that I wasn't going to vote this year. I was stating on blogtv that it was essentially pointless. The viewer sent me an e-mail questioning whether I was even registered to vote, how I could not vote if I'm a constitutionalists. However, I'm also a pragmatist and this is my response.

The U.S. government only follows the U.S. constitution when in suits them. Nevertheless, I am registered to vote. And Yes, I have voted before. I voted for McCain, the low life who co-signed the National Defense Authorization Act. The same act that allows the military to turn America into a battlefield and detain citizens without a charge, trial or any evidence. Of course, Obama signed this disgraceful piece of legislation. So, no, I will not be voting. I simply don't see a point.

Time and time again, leaders in both the Republican and Democratic parties have lied to the American people. They have continued to support unconstitutional legislation (e.g. Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act, National Defense Authorization) aimed at stripping our civil liberties and basic rights. Both parties have continued to support criminals on Wall Street, banker bailouts and unnecessary wars (Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan bombing, Yemen bombing).

You say that "this is the most important election of our lifetime." Isn't every scam of an election supposedly the most important of our lifetime. And yet, they are always the same. Candidate make promises, one wins the race and when he gets into office, they break almost every promise. Remember when Obama said he was going to close Guantanamo Bay? he lied about that, lied about the one year withdrawal from Iraq, illegally bombed Yemen, Pakistan and Libya, escalated the Afghan War and protected Bush torturers. And he's not the only liar.

Bush claimed that U.S. shouldn't try to police the world and what did he do, he started two unnecessary wars and lied his ass off about weapons of mass destruction. He dramatically expanded the size of government and accelerated the national debt. Obama has just continued the foolishness.

You also say that if I'm a constitutionalists, I would vote. Well, to be honest, if Thomas Jefferson were alive and saw what this government were doing, I doubt he would be concerned about voting.

After all, isn't he the guy who said,

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."

Anyway, don't you see the scam. People are allowed to vote because it gives them the illusion that they have a say in things. They don't. Remember when Congress was considering the bailout and the overwhelm numbers of Americans called their Congressperson's office and pledged for them to not give their tax money to bankers? What did Congress do?

So sure, Obama is going to try to take away my rights in his second term, but there's plenty of reason to think the GOP nominee will do so as well. Romney and Newt have made anti-gun statements and Santorum is barely better. And as far as Ron Paul, the man is the only non-corporatist, non neo-con candidate and was out right cheated in Maine. The race was close and there simply stopped counting the votes. They had clear discrepancies in the voting from various districts.

Maybe Stalin was right (if he said this.)

"The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything."

The fact of the matter is that none of the candidates have made a commitment to cut the budget, end the warmongering and stop the banker bailouts. They are all getting money from Goldman Sachs and the criminals on Wall Street. So as disappointed as you are in me, it doesn't even come close to the disappointment I have for this corrupt system.

So what do you think? Should we bother voting in 2012?

I've heard people argue that we should vote for Ron Paul to prevent World War 3, but I think Maine proves that the GOP will make sure he never gets the nomination. If you think I'm wrong, tell me why?

Illusion of Recovery! US War w Iran '3 yrs. Away'?

By Reginald Kaigler (DEMCAD)

Will the lunatics bring us to war, again? Col. Wilkerson thinks the U.S. government could be less than two years away from war with Iran and I think he's right. I think the U.S. will hit Iran's ally, Syria, before they make their move. Please watch the Colonel's interview on RT in the video above.

The Economy

I had a snack with two friends at a restaurant and they insisted that the economy was on the upswing. They were convinced that "it is coming back." Nevermind, the fact that there are still 46.2 million Americans on food stamps and millions are being forced out of the labor force.

It was odd, because they didn't seen to be doing any better than they were one year ago. I'm barely doing better. But despite the reality, people want to better in the comfortable lies. Perhaps, I'm wrong. Maybe the economy really is improving. never the Baltic Dry Index showing a collapse in global shipping demand. Maybe things are getting better.

Anyway, a new report is showing that 67% of Detroit children live in high poverty areas. Not just poor areas. High poverty areas. In Cleveland, 57% of children live in high poverty. In 2010, 341,000 Michigan children in high-poverty communities. this is a 57% increase over the last decade.

Rogue Senator?

I admit that by this point, I'm pretty cynical about Washington D.C. and politicians in general. However, maybe Coburn is different (at least when it comes to the debt.)

Senator Tom Coburn (from Oklahoma) took no prisoners when addressing the debt crisis here in America. His honesty was shocking. "Any politician that says he won't touch your medicare is lying."

His passion is refreshing. "I don't want to be civil if our country is going to crash onto the rocks." Watch for yourself and tell me what you think.

Iran Strikes Back!

A viewer pointed out a wonderful segment on 60 Minutes about a jobs program for the long term unemployed. I think it's inspiring. meanwhile, Iran is fighting back. As a result, the WTI oil price has hit 105 dollars. The Persian nation has cut off oil sells to the UK and France in response to EU sanctions. Iran has also harden its security of its nuclear sites.

Europe, Ron Paul, 9/11 and Alaska.

I came across a report on poverty in America. I think it tells the story that the stock market can't tell you.

Ron Paul, Rigged Elections, 9/11 and Alaska.

A viewer's e-mail.
"After watching MANY videos on 9/11, I believe it to be an inside job that facilitated the cooperation of the American people to agree to going to War. I truly believe that ALL the Wars we have fought have been for greed. I know that the US has set up these dictatorships and I agree with Dr. Ron Paul on most of his political ideas....also, YES about Ben Laden. I am 64 years old...I can remember when Ben Laden, and Saddam Hussein were written about favorably by the Media, as well as other dictators who are now being overthrown and murdered. They were educated in the US, Guests in the White House and supported by past Presidential Administrations as well as "gifted" with massive foreign aid.

As I said, I am 64, and also, I am a wrinkled white old lady, but I agree with you 100%. I live in Alaska also. I think that BHO has already lost this coming election...he will probably step down...if he can swallow his enormous pride...and the Dems will run Hilary!! Hey, I just wanted to thank you for all the info you are putting out on your Blog and through videos. I'm enjoying your comments. I hope it's waking some people up. I wish Allen West was running...I would vote for him in a heartbeat!! How about Allen West and Rand Paul on a ticket??? Now, THAT would be a chance for America!!"

First of all, if you want to read a solid case against the government's official story about 9/11, I recommend you look at Michael Ruppert's Crossing the Rubicon. A lot of my new viewers don't know this, but I spent 19 months in Ketchikan, Alaska helping high school students apply for scholarships, apprenticeships and college as an AmeriCorps VISTA. I also visited Anchorage for one week, so I can tell you guys that Alaska has some great people up there. I wanted to go back someday.

And yes, the U.S. used to back Saddam. heck, we were working with Gaddafi until he started to threaten the dominance of the U.S. dollar.

Regarding, the elections, the GOP will never let Ron Paul win. And I mean that literally. In Maine, Ron Paul was less than 200 votes behind Mitt Romney when the GOP stopped counting the votes. They had only counted 84% of the votes. Mitt Romney was declared the winner leading Ron Paul by 194 votes out of 5,585 cast.

They even refused to count votes in two counties and witnesses have come forward saying that the official GOP count did not match the count read out loud at varies locations. Simply out, this is a clear example of out right fraud in U.S. elections.

Europe

Before I go, I have to provide you an update on Europe.

I think European Parliament member Daniel Hannan said it best. "Things are bad in Europe. the Greek economy is in collapse.....All the options from here are bad, I am afraid". Not only is he right about so many corrupt Europeans willing to support this failing system because they have too much invested in it, but I think this nightmare is going to lead to a total breakdown. This is how wars begin. Everyone talking about war in the Middle East, but most I remember you that the Europeans started both World Wars. Don't get me wrong, I love my Europeans viewers, but this is a reality that none of us can ignore.

Can Christians Use Deadly Force For Defense?

By Reginald Kaigler (DEMCAD)

I was doing a live show on blog tonight and a caller brought up the idea of using a firearm for non-lethal self-defense. He mentioned his believes in Christianity and concluded that he could not kill as a devoted believer in Christ. Let me say upfront that I am not a Christian. I am not religious, but I think it is important to consider interpretation when following any set of documents.

For example, when the Bible states "Thous Shall not kill." In the translation of the word kill, did the original word mean kill or murder. "Kill" means to take life. But Murder implies premeditation. A lot of times, things are lost in the translation, especially context.

Nevertheless, I rejected his idea of firing a warning shot in his home, but there was no way of knowing where the bullet would go. He painted a scenario where he would find an intruder breaking into his home and he would fire a warning shot through a window. The problem is that the bullet may hit a neighbor. Moreover, I think it's unwise to carry a lethal weapon when you don't have the intend to use it for deadly force.

Let me make myself clear. I'm not looking for a shootout or to kill anyone. However, if I have to choose between living or dying, I choose living. My suggestion to this man was that he should research the translations of the bible and find out what kill was really suppose to mean. He should also consider non-lethal weapons such as pepper spray and a stun gun. He may even want to research rubber bullets. But even they can kill.

Ultimately, if you are a believer in God, I think you have to give assume that God has common sense and would understand why you defended yourself and family from harm. Do you really really think God would prefer a man raping a mother and daughter and killing the entire family to a husband (and father) defending his home?

I'll read some of your messages and reply.

A FACEBOOK USER writes,

"I live in a urban area 40 miles outside of DC. Believe me, I have the ability and mind-set to defend my home and family.

Reg, I have read several survival books stating that the cities will empty out and burn WTSHTF. However, I tend to differ with the writers. History is full of examples of the country side flocking to the cities to seek protection and food (e.g. - The collapse of the Argentine economy in 2001, The Europe during the wars and plague). Your thoughts?"

The problem is that we have never had 7 billion people on the planet with most of them not knowing how to grow food and virtually all of them getting their food from outside of their local areas. I think there will be a massive exodus to the suburbs. But I'm staying put right in my home. I think there will be a lot of danger in traveling into areas you are not welcomed.

Samuel L. Jackson: I Voted for Obama BECAUSE HE'S BLACK

By Reginald Kaigler (DEMCAD)

Movie Star Samuel L. Jackson said he voted for Obama because he's black and didn't care about Obama's message.

Frankly, there's millions of black people who did the same. Unfortunately, most black aren't rich celebrities, so when the consequences of Obama's failed policies kick in, they will feel all of the pain.

"When it comes down to it, they wouldn't have elected a [bleep]. Because, what's a [bleep]? A [bleep] is scary. Obama ain't scary at all. [Bleeps] don't have beers at the White House. [Bleeps] don't let some white dude, while you in the middle of a speech, call [him] a liar. A [bleep] would have stopped the meeting right there and said, ‘Who the [bleep] said that?' I hope Obama gets scary in the next four years, 'cuz he ain't gotta worry about getting re-elected."

For the record, I think Obama is scary right now. But Jackson may get his wish.

Since Obama has been in office, he has has supported banker bailouts, appointed tax cheats (like Tim Geithner), passed a failed stimulus package, recklessly expanded the war in Afghanistan, taken years to wind down the Iraq War, illegally bombed middle eastern countries (like Libya, Pakistan and Yemen,) signed the extention of the Patriot Act, signed the unconstitutional NDAA (which allows the military to detain people without a trial of charges), created a corrupt government takeover of healthcare

But hey, at least Obama killed a dead man. Bin Laden was reported to be dead in 2001, but the U.S. military claims they killed him in 2011 and quickly throws the body away before anyone can examine it. This is laughable. President Barack Obama is an utter failure and if we ignore that reality, we deserve what we get. Black people shouldn't bitch about the unemployment and injustice if we continue to support an evil empire that perpetuates it.

The empire hasn't changed. It's just in black face and we're eating it up like a bunch of dumb-asses. Jackson, you are a great actor, but you have to be smarter than this. You can't stand behind injustice just because it's presenting itself in black face.

Government Confiscates Doomsday Prepper's GUNS!

***SHOCKER***
One of the featured personalities of National Geographic's documentary series Doomsday Preppers, has lost his right to own firearms. After making a joke about suicide with his cardiologist, David Sarti has forcibly taken to a hospital and declared "mentally defective." The government confiscated his firearms. He now has no avenue for reversing the decision and has declared his preps to be over. He now believes that there is no point in prepping since he no longer has a means of self defense.

"I figure if the poop hits the fan, I'll be dead. I can't run. I can't defend myself."

The saddest part is that after being on television and displaying his extensive emergency preparation, he is now in a position where he can't do the things he loves most. Now as many of you know, I was very critical of the show. I thought it presented preppers in a negative light. And there's no evidence that the show lead to this most unfortunate development. However, I can't help but wonder if his doctor saw this show. Maybe I'm being unreasonable, but I think this guy may have been unfairly targeted. Or maybe there is something that he isn't telling us?

CORRECTION: It looks like the show had nothing to do with his problem. And there was more than one doctor that considered him to be a danger.

Tell me what you think. Is Doomsday Preppers good for the community?

David Sarti is a popular youtuber under the name Dsarti.
