What Meijer Did To Me?

I can't believe what happened to me yesterday. I've been shopping at Meijer for almost 20 years. So when I applied for several of their positions, I was stunned to receive an outrageous telephone call from a team leader. First, she asked me if I were still seeking employment? "Yes, I am." Then she asked me about my skills. And I told her about my sales experience, clothing retail experience and loading experience. So she acted me which position I would be best suited for?

Essentially, I had to guess which position they had available. But their website has several positions open. Well, I guessed incorrectly and she abruptly hung up. When it this behavior become acceptable in America?

If you are an employer, you should call a potential employee when you are sure that you have a job that they expressed interest in. If I applied for several positions, obviously I was interested. You don't humiliate people by forcing them to guess which position you are looking for. Well, not until your Meijer. Maybe this a prank call. But that doesn't make any sense.

What's happening is obvious. The job market is deteriorating and employers have the upper hand.

November Elections: America Has Not Learned!

Election Update and Predictions

Tea Party candidates Sharon Angle and Christine O'Donnell have been ridiculed throughout this early political season. Christine O'Donnell has been painted as a religious zealot and Sharon Angle quirk demeanor has made it easy for her critics to portray her as a right wing nut out to kill Social Security. Currently, Angle is struggling to stay even with the notoriously unpopular Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid (from Nevada.) And O'Donnell is now trailing her democratic opponent by 16 points in her Delaware race.

It seems as if these are candidates who are doomed to fail. And if this were a normal year, that would be true. But this political season is anything, normal. The Republicans have a 5+ point advantage in the generic poll. President Obama's approval ratings have dropped 20 points in his first 20 months in office. All of the latest polls show that the majority of the American people don't support his performance as President. CNN/Opinion Research showed that only 42 percent of Americans supporting Obama, while a whopping 54 percent disapproved.

RealClearPolitics Average shows that less than 23 percent of Americans approve of Congress. Some numbers are as low as 18. Simply put, the population is growing restless. We still have sky high unemployment, foreclosures still soaring, bankruptcies hitting record highs, commercial real estate crumbling and housing is as dead as ever. The overall picture is worse The gap between the have and have nots are getting larger. According to the U.S. Census, the top 20% income earners (people who make over 100,000) control 49.4 percent of all income generated in the U.S. There's 41 million people on food stamps and it's going to grow to 43 in 2011. We're seeing middle class families on food stamps. What's happening in America is more than an economic downturn. We've watching a decline in a nation's standard of living.

So, this is what I see happening in November, We will see a massive political tidal wave. But not the kind this country needs. As I predicted last year, third parties will not rise. It will be the same mindless partisan game. But this time, the GOP will win enough seats to take the House. I originally predicted that the GOP will gain at least 35 seats in the House and 6 in the Senate. It's not even October and I consider those predictions to be a lock. At this point, the GOP will likely add 8 seats to the Senate and there will be at least 225 Republicans in the House.

What does this mean for America?

It means that the GOP will take over and do the exact same thing as the Democrats, but in a different way. Nothing is going to change in November. The American people have not learned their lesson.

Doug Casey and Gerald Celente: Collapse Coming Soon!

Editor: Reginald Kaigler

Gerald Celente took no prisoners when he visited The Gary Null Show on September 20th, 2010. He hit on the banker bailouts, the failed stimulus and what he describes as the DEPRESSION. Meanwhile, the Queen of England apparently used poverty funds to heat the Royal Palace. The UK's Independent claims ministers of Parliament were ask if money reserved for hospitals and low-income families. Keep in mind that British taxpayers already give £38m to the Royal Family every year. Fortunately, she didn't get the cash.
\Speaking of cash, the dollar is declining against gold and silver. Doug Casey describe the current economic situation as the eye of the hurricane. Casey explains,

"At the moment we're in an economic twilight zone or, if you wish, the eye of a hurricane. There is apparent stability in the economy. The stock market's high. The bond market's high. Only the real estate market is in visible trouble. Retail prices are level; they're not going up and maybe they're even going down in some cases. This is a temporary situation. We will inevitably -- and soon -- hit the other side of the storm. At some point those trillions of dollars created by the U.S. government -- and many other governments around the world have created trillions of currency units -- are going to have an effect. When will that be? The timing is uncertain. But I think it's going to be soon."

Mike Maloney Schools Bankers on Deflation

Mike Maloney appeared at a conference to talk about the coming economic crisis. His efforts were capture on camera and I must say that this maybe one of the most important videos you'll ever watch. Maloney not only explain how the next leg of the crisis will begin, but he schools the bankers on how money is made by covering factional banking and Treasury Bonds.

"The crisis that you've just been through is nothing but a speed bump on the way to the main event. The storm that is coming is going to be bigger than anything that you have ever seen. There's a dollar crisis coming. There's a big deflation coming soon. The money supply of the United States has begun to contract for the first time since the Great Depression."

Maloney warns that the central banks will try to fight this by trying to stimulus the economy. This will create a massive transfer of wealth across the world. He's convinced that the entire world's economies are following the United States. He declares that the people who prepare with prosper. But he warns that hyper-inflationary will be the result of reckless central bank responses to the crisis.

"We've created more currency in just 18 months than in the last 200 years. Do you think that's a good thing."

Jim Rickards: The Dollar Will Collapse!

See, this is why I say that gold and silver are not investments. They are a means to maintain purchasing power. Gold and silver are precious metals that always maintain their value. During the Dark Ages of plagues and famine, people valued gold. For thousands of years, monarchs and emperors have desired gold. Gold and silver have never increased or decreased in value. These metals maintain their value and that's why people have always collected them.

In the last decade, the price of gold has soared, but what most people fail to realize is that the value of gold hasn't increased, the value of the dollar has decreased. In fact, the only time gold increases in value is when it becomes scarce. It now takes over 1250 dollars to acquire one ounce of gold. Jim Rickards, OMNIS Senior Managing Director, appeared on CNBC to warn the public of the U.S. Dollars inevitable collapse.

"I don't think gold is going up. I think gold is fixed. What we're seeing is the collapse of the dollar."

Oil Spill Scientists Intimidated!

Oil Spill Scientists Intimidated!

Two scientists testing water samples from the Gulf of Mexico have been bullied by government officials in recent weeks. After the Gulf Oil Spill crisis began, the Obama Administration created a commission to investigate the cause and after of the disaster. Ironically enough, when two researchers discovered that the water samples showed serious contamination, government officials turned up the pressure. The Washington types began to question the scientists' finding in a hostile matter. The National Commission on the BP Oil Spill contacted the scientists. One of researchers commented to 4WWL News,

"I explained our work, but there seems to be grave concern as to why we are finding contamination. It was sort of a loaded question. And then the questions were geared towards sampling permits."

So basically the government hacks were pissed that the researchers uncovered evidence that the Gulf isn't as safe as the government wants people to believe. And then they tried to bully the scientists be questioning whether they had the right permits to acquire the data. So never mind the fact that the water is unsafe, the government wanted to see the permits. The Obama Administration went as far as to question whether the scientists acquired the data legally. This is clear evidence that the government is using bullying tactics to hide something in the Gulf of Mexico. Watch this video and tell me what you think.

By the way, I'll be on the radio soon. Well, for one hour.

On Monday, September 20th, I'll be stepping in and hosting youtuber Crabbydogtrix's radio show on WideAwakeRadio. I'll be discussing the latest economic developments with youtuber wepollock.

Williams: Hyperinflation in 6 to 9 Months!

Six to nine months! That's how long we have until the sky falls (on the U.S. dollar). That's the latest forecast from shadowstats.com creator John Williams. John draws parallels between the hyperinflationary holocaust of the Weimar Republic and the United States current monetary insanity. The Federal Reserve is in a position where if it rises interest raises, the economy grind to a halt. They have already produced so much currency that the U.S. government will have no realistic means of paying the debt back. Obama's stimulus package didn't jumpstart the economy. The trillions in bailout money has yet to enter the market aside from the banks. Essentially, they've been hiding it. So when the currencies hit main street, the value of the dollar will sink The Federal Reserve has a crazed determination to prevent deflation at all costs. I'm guessing that they'll success very soon.

Christine O'Donnell: Principles and Winning

Liberal Republican Delaware Senatorial candidate Mike Castle is being shaken by the surging Tea Party candidate Christine O'Donnell. Castle is a former Governor and a strong competitor against the Democratic candidates. She's much more conservative than Castle and his anti-gun, pro-abortion politics are very popular in the blue states. Weeks ago, no one expect O'Donnell to challenge Castle, but now she on the verge of defeating him. So why is she so competitive in this ultra blue state?

Principle. Republicans (some of them) are learning that if you compromise your principles to win elections than you're not really winning anything. I've been saying this for years. No conservative wants to vote for a pro gun control liberal who calls himself a Republican. See, this is why the Republican brand is in such bad shape. The Republican Party doesn't represent anything. The Bush years proved that it's not a fiscally conservative party, it's not a budget-minded party, it's not a defender of liberty or justice, it never balances the balance, it spends recklessly and it creates unnecessary wars.

What Republicans must understand is that you're better off standing by your principles and losing some races, than losing your integrity just to wind a few extra seats and have an incompetent government. After all, if you win extra seats and the extra Senators and representatives pursuit foolish policies, you'll ruin the reputation of the whole party. Why can't people get this?

Now, I'm not saying that O'Donnell is a perfect candidate, but I think it's time conservatives forced the Republican Party to stand for something.

Maybe the system can be reformed. I doubt it, but let's say for the sake of argument that it can. If the political system is to be representative of the people it supposed to serve, then we'll have to make it happen.

Karl Denninger: Next Financial Crisis Imminent!

By Reginald Kaigler

Karl Denninger appeared on Max Kieser's TV to break down the current economic crisis. He explained how the U.S. government uses accounting tricks to hide trillions of dollars of debt. Karl also touched on government bonds and the U.S. government's grand ponzi (I mean, Madoff) scheme. I especially enjoyed Karl's explanation of why Geithner and company can't control the situation. Giethner maybe to have a lot of control of the U.S. government's decisions, but he he absolutely no control over China's trade and currency decisions.

Simply, the world market system is unstable and unsustainable. There's no quick fix and at this point, the U.S. government is out of tricks to prop the U.S. debt system up. Europe's debt is already imploding their financial structures and it's only a matter of time until the world's house of cards comes falling down. Many American derivatives are linked to Europe and vice versa. The financial problems that crashed the system still existed.

In fact, Karl is convinced that the next leg of this financial crisis will begin very soon and most likely will start outside of the U.S.

By the way, I highly recommend Karl's website. I don;t always agree with his conclusions, but he is a very knowledgeable mind in finance.

Another Crappy Obama Speech and Burning the Koran!

Somebody please save me! I don't what's worse: another one of Obama's support-my-crappy-new-jobs-bill speech or watching high level government officials talk about some idiot pastor who wants to burn the koran? Here's another question: why is it that America is that only country in world where people don't ignore the town fool when he speaks. This pastor (Terry Jones in Florida) has 50 followers, but Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and top U.S. military in Afghanistan General Petraeus have commented on his plans to burn the Koran on September 11th.

Can I take "political distractions" for 500 Alex?

Obama's latest speech in Ohio was just like every ridiculous speech that he's given since President. He has a new bill that supposedly will create jobs in America. Just forget about all of the other ones that failed.

FLASHBACK: Obama's 2009 Stimulus Speech

"The plan is not perfect," the president said. "No plan is. I can't tell you for sure that everything in this plan will work exactly as we hope, but I can tell you with complete confidence that a failure to act will only deepen this crisis as well as the pain felt by millions of Americans...That is a deficit that could turn a crisis into a catastrophe. And I refuse to let that happen. As long as I hold this office, I will do whatever it takes to put this country back to work."

And here we are in September 2010. The stimulus package didn't stop the bleeding in unemployment. It was 7.2% in January of 2009. Now it's 9.6%. And these are just the cooked numbers. U6 unemployment is over 17% and real unemployment is closer to 20%. This is the real story. Not some idiot in Florida. Canada moved a key interest rate up, which signals a departure from the insane zero interest stupidity in America. This is what matters to me.

So at this point, I'm going to call it. I'm going to predict that by the end of this winter, the overwhelming majority of the American people will stop listening to this guy.
Am I wrong?

I don't see this guy being re-elected.

Glenn Beck Kills the Tea Party?

Fox News host (and veteran Republican disinformation specialist) Glenn Beck rallied over 300,000 Teapartyers in Washington D.C. this week, an event which represented the death certificate of the Tea Party Movement. If ever there was a 'Jump the Shark' moment for a political movement, it was when Glenn Beck (a man who consistently divides people) teamed up with Sarah Palin (the former VP candidate who can't name one U.S. Supreme Court decision on national TV) to lead the Tea Party. Put a fork in it folks, the Tea Party Movement is done. Well Done. The establishment has successful infiltrated and disarmed polency of the movement by turning it into a Republican prep rally.

It's sad to see some many people tricked, but it's nothing new in America. I respect what the Tea Party used to represent. I respect what the activists tried to do, but I think it's over. You can't have a man who attacks unemployed Americans as the standard bearer for your movement. Beck's language is caustic and divisive. He mixes lies with the truth and exploits viewers' fears. This is not the type of leader this nation needs. Now, I understand that there are many non-Beck Tea Party activists across the country, but the movement has failed to rid itself of the GOP. The movement needed to protest the GOP in a grand fashion to prevent the Republicans from taking over.

So am I off target with my declaration that the Tea Party is dead?
